[ Video Transmission - Kefka 006 ]

[ Image appears distorted, on it's side as a dying Kefka falls to the ground, his breaths are shallow and slow as he glances at the camera and laughs, looking back up at the stars]

So...this is how the tale of this fool ends, hmm?

This is where gods come to die, Gaia...a place full of death and desecration. [A laugh]

But I wonder, with me out of the picture, a void now fills Gaia's holes of a God. And in this case, a strong more powerful evil is just around the corner. So I ask you Gaia...now that I'm gone

[Dark tone] What new big bad wolf will take my place and burn this planet in absolute hellfire. [Slow chuckle into a mad laughter]

It's hilarious, even though I'm gone I've still won...I only wish, I could see it happen for mys-

[The pain courses through him again as his breaths speed up even shallower than before]

General...I bet...I just made...yo...ur...

[Breathing stops, as his face tilts towards the screen looking directly at the camera, a smile on his face and an empty look in his eye. The image stays on screen for a few minutes, before the phone times out]

[OOC: YAUP...Kefka's dead...To wonder what happen, please go here]

Destroying a soul wouldn't make us any better than Garland himself, but if that soul harbors the spirit of a resentful and hateful swine of a man; then are we truly still at fault for wishing that soul's demise?

There's a difference between Garland and us. This difference lies upon our reasoning for willingly sullying our hands for the behalf of the greater good.

That's true. But there isn't much use in wondering if we're right or wrong if there isn't a method to destroy his soul in the first place. Your mist is kind of like our Lifestream, right? The souls and memories live on, except in our world, there is no chance of revival... just never-ending nightmares for some.

[He was shocked to silence once she mentioned the 'Lifestream'. This wasn't the first time he heard someone mention it, but this was the first time he heard someone other than Genesis mention it. The same for Cloud and his party who seemed to hail from the same world.]

I take it you are from the 'other' Gaia if you are speaking of the Lifestream.

That's right. Midgar was part of Gaia, once upon a time, and it was a central city, now it seems that it's thriving with Moogles. I haven't seen it yet, but... I'm not sure if I want to.

[She was worried that she had touched upon some kind of taboo that she didn't know about now she reached this Gaia.]

Did I say something wrong?

[He chuckled lightly.]

Oh, no! You haven't said any wrong, miss. I am merely shocked to meet another who hails from that realm. I know a few from there, one of them being the President of Shinra himself.

[She was stunned, but held herself together. The President was here too?]

The President? I haven't seen him around.

President Rufus was here months ago, but it seems as if him and the Director of the Turks both vanished before Garland's siege upon the land.

[Cissnei goes silent. She wasn't from everyone else's time and place and that was beginning to bother her.]

I didn't know he ascended to power, I'll have to see him for myself now, if I ever do. Reno told me about the Director, I think, or I heard from somewhere else, I don't remember. A coincidence, them leaving before Garland showing up, don't you think?
