[A strong but still feminine voice comes over the sky phone, in a message sent to the five individuals named in the colonel's post from roughly twenty minutes before. Enough time to monitor, and ponder, shifting plans around - and coming to the opinion that this was very, very good indeed. But she keeps her voice steady, calm. The accent is impossible to hide, though.]

My name is Kerina. You do not know me, but I am kompelled to give you this warning - a woman, who says she is a kolonel of a military division, has issued kautions against all of you for the krime of being what she kalls "l'Cie, enemies of Kokoon." She klaims you attempted to overthrow the government there, of which she is a part, and that you will likely do the same on this world as well.

Please, I do not know whether what she says is true or not, but there are those on this world who have stood akkused of things they were not guilty of, or only guilty of through cirkumstance. I am one such, and there is a ring of a similar story for yourselves in the one she tells. If what she says is true, are you really such frightening monsters?

So then Dysley is this primarch?

What proof do you have? The woman has spoken first; she will now be believed before other voices, especially if they do not have proof of their own to give.

Proof?! Why don't you go ask her for some?! I don't have anything to prove to anyone.

There are those that have. [In contrast to Light, she's still calm. She's even smiling - those that let their emotions become so focused are powerful indeed.] She has klaimed none beyond her own knowledge - so it will be her word against yours.

[A pause, and then...] Since the changing of the worlds, there has been much kause for chaos and death in this world. There is one in partikular, Kefka, who is well known for kausing havok only bekause he wishes to. People are afraid of another threat such as him forming, and if there are several people of that type of threat working as a group, then they will bond against you.

..Kefka, huh? [ You've got her attention. You can almost hear the frown in her voice. ] Trust me, we're nothing like him. Becoming l'Cie wasn't a choice, it was a burden.

So if you have the choice, you would choose to lead a kwuiet life, away from the intrigue and destruktion?

[ There is a noticeable pause here; Lightning has to think about this and how to answer. ] If I had the choice, I'd choose to lead my own life, not something that's handed to me or something I'm told to do.

[Such passion and determination. You may do very well indeed.]

Individuality and free choice. Yes, that does make much sense.

Why wouldn't it? [ A pause. ] Who are you, anyway? Why should we trust you?

[And she uses just enough of the truth here - the part that sounds sympathetic, rather than the rest of it. After all, what Jihl is accusing these people of is actually true for her.]

A woman who is the same as you klaim to be. I, too, am different from others from my world, and it is a difference that is not akcepted readily. I have found a kuiet life on this world, where I am unknown, and do not wish to lose it, and from what the woman was saying, and now what you've said, you are the same.
