[Early in the morning, Mjrn is winding her way around Lindblum's streets. Her spear is in hand, and a backpack hangs from one shoulder. She pays little attention to the noise and bustle of those around her, doing her best to ignore what snatches of conversation reach her ears. Normally bright-eyed and curious about everything, the young Viera seems lost in thought. Even the warbling of the fat little cockatrice accompanying her does not pierce that mental fog.

Despite giving little notice to her surroundings, Mjrn walks with purpose. She pauses only to purchase some fresh fruit and other food for Chit from a startled vendor before moving onward, toward the gate. Even though she was growing accustomed to the noise and numbers of humes and others within the city, Mjrn at the moment just needs to be away. Not even intermittent drizzling or clouds that threaten more of the same are going to keep her from venturing outside the city's walls. As far as the young Viera is concerned, it's time to train.]

[Gazing up at the gloomy sky stood a rather forlorn looking woman dressed plainly in a pale pink and white dress with her long brown hair tied in a loose ponytail. Aerith looked anything but her usual cheerful self but instead of the anger she once had, the flower girl just looked sad. She had a white shawl wrapped around her thin shoulders, her only attempt to shield herself from the drizzling raindrops.]

[Raine has determined to make the best of a less than ideal situation. If she's going to be in an enormous city, she might as well take advantage and see about getting some gardening supplies to take back to Jidoor.

Unfortunately, if being in a big urban area wasn't bad enough, there were the sheer numbers of animal people about. She stared in disbelief as a hippo woman and hippo child walked past, along with what looked like a ratman and... a rabbit with white ears and a pet bird?
