I would prefer you leave the protection of that country in the hands of those who originally held control of it. I appreciate the assistance you have provided so far.

Of course, but as I was selected to the task by election, I would be remiss to leave the task incomplete. These people have endured troubles enough of late and a sudden change of power would be distressing and cruel to them. Perhaps you could travel here and we can discuss a satisfactory transfer with the weal of the people in mind.

Yes of course, other matters which take precedence over the administration of Wutai. I assure you that we have matters well in hand, yet to depart at this time would be tantamount to abandonment. Perhaps some other time when you are less occupied we can make arrangements.
