[Nervousness was not a normal emotion for the Captain. He was normally a very confident person. Confident in his abilities, his actions. He was known to swing his sword true, fight his own battles, and fight for those who could not fight for themselves.
Yet for matters of the heart, he was not as confident as he should be. It was not his strong point, like it was Balthier's. So, taking the advice of his good friend and companion, he would relax and be himself. Clearly the woman he was going to see liked him in some form of the term. She could have said no when he asked. But she didn't... which made him a bit more calmer.
He had been pacing for a moment to calm his nerves. It would not do himself any good to go headfirst into this with his nerves shot. Slow intake of breath before he released it. It was now or never. Slowly, he rounded the corner, making his way to her house. Once there, he would knock calmly, the flowers in his hand hidden behind his back.]

So, when he said it wasn't that far, it really wasn't that far. Before long, they had come upon a smallish restaurant. It was quaint, and most of all, it was quiet. Stepping forward, he pulled the door open to let her enter first.]

He wasn't sure how he could handle intimate.
He'd pull her chair out for her, and once she was seated, he'd seat himself. Once alone, he wasn't sure how to act. It was one thing while they were walking, it was another when they were seated together.]

One's bad enough!
But there's only ONE! Those things come in swarms-
Wait a minute! Are there people on its back?
[And sure enough, two figures were visible on the back of the dragon - one with longer hair than the other. TWO GUESSES, YOU TWO.]

Date: 2011-05-11 02:15 am (UTC)He nodded to Lightning, drawing his sword as he rushed out of the restaurant. He was prepared for battle, as always.
Wait. Did someone say there were people on the dragon's back? Lowering his sword, Basch shielded his eyes as he glanced upward into the air towards the dragon. Sure enough...
The look on Basch's face said it all.]
I am going to kill him.

[And with that, Fang turned over one of the bags once they were about twenty feet above the ground, letting out a trail of rose petals to fall over their friends.]
