[Camera in hand, the feed begins with Beatrix's profile. She seems to be looking around, likely scouting for this, that, and the other thing. She hasn't said much of anything with the events as of recent, but it hardly means she wasn't paying attention. It's hard not to pay attention with a swarm of monsters hits a planet's surface and goes about terrorising places.]

All knights beneath my employ are required to increase their daily and nightly patrols. The threat has not been quelled. If we sit and do nothing, then it is the same as surrendering. I will not tolerate such an outcome with those titled as the knights of Alexandria.

[She softens for only a moment, eyes the camera in all of her thoughtfulness and nods once, succinctly.]

Those involved in Alexandria's welfare, Lindblum's, and... the boarding of that vessel, provide for me your current status.

[In other words, she'd like to know her friends and allies are doing well. Including people like Zidane, who she hasn't said a word to, likely concerned due to her lack of memories, she may chide him. And he won't like that.

She looks around again and shakes her head as she lifts her free hand to brush back her hair, only for curls to fall back into place.]

There is still so much to do.

We would be wise to take it, Steiner, but at the opportune moment. We ought to have plenty of citizens ripe and ready to defend the lines of their home.

Going against Lufene wasn't exactly a stroll in the park, but none of us were wounded beyond the aid of a healing spell. Likewise, I suffered no lasting injury in defense of Alexandria. You are well, I hope, General Beatrix?

[Beatrix looks utterly perturbed by the mentioning of Lufene. That woman's a nuisance, if she can even be considered a woman. She introduced herself as the 'angel of death', right? It doesn't make a lick of sense. Or perhaps it's in those memories that she's missing.]

It's good to know the stronghold for Alexandria has retained its tower-like defence. Certainly not the means I would have preferred to see you again under, but beggars cannot be choosers, I suppose.

[Ah, and here we have the tailed one that Beatrix has yet to address. Mostly because there is a rather large hole in her memory and she can scarcely recall precisely what, but she is under the impression that Zidane is something of a husband to her queen.

But without the details to that memory, Beatrix has difficulty seeing him as a king. And she has difficulty of seeing him as however he would... like to be seen as.

So it takes her some time before she approaches him with a bow, or as much a bow as Beatrix is willing to give him. It's not as low as the one she'd offer to Garnet, but it's most certainly there.]

[And she says that in the most lighthearted way she possible can, Zidane. Really. She raises an eyebrow as she watches him.]

My soldiers can attend to this. Her Majesty could likely use some consoling that did not come from her retainers.

[Because it's very, very awkward to see Zidane around and Beatrix still has quite the standards on what royalty should do. Even when it comes to people who... are not exactly cut out for royalty.]

[Since the Lunar Cry, Serah and her friends - her family - have stayed in Alexandria. Partly, due to Hope's part in summoning Alexander; partly, as it was safer than attempting to get back to Luca.

She's currently near to the outside of the castle, helping civilians - simply if they need a helping hand, or in some cases, they need a cure spell or two. She's by no means brilliant at it, as the magic is new to her, but she gets better with each try, and each person who passes her way is greatful for the assistance. Talk to her, Beatrix?]

[Beatrix has kept a close eye on all of the grounds and the people setting foot upon them. It is not unlikely that someone would take advantage of the chaos to get closer to the queen. It is of the utmost importance that the general ensure the safety of Her Majesty.

Serah, however... appears to be doing something quite the opposite of whatever Beatrix's suspicions are trying to fester within her mind. She stops at the side of the younger girl and watches for but a few moments.]

[Mid way through casting Cure for one of the children with a few nasty scrapes, Serah looks up as the spell settles. She... doesn't immediately recognise her, but she can roughly guess who she is - she's seen Beatrix round and about.]

Ah, yes- I'm fine, thank you.

[she turns to the small group of children with their parents dotted around.] These guys weren't so lucky, so... I was doing my best to help them, if I can.

[Beatrix follows the gesture and for many moments, she remains wordless. Children and their parents. They've not been without casualties. They've not been without the injured.

She won't say it, but her heart goes out to those who have lost someone important to them. A single look back to Serah, and the thought reflects within her expression, but she chooses not to voice it.]

You are not native to Alexandria, are you? I am most certain I would remember you if you were.

[Never mind that Beatrix is still not playing with a full deck.]
