[Leans in] Afraid of showing that cute face of yours to me? I swear I won't do anything to it, I just wanna see those beautiful eyes, those cute cheeks, those beautiful lips. Please?

[Irvine isn't making this any easier for Selphie. How can he just keep acting like his little drunken escapade never happened? She stops dead in her tracks and looks up at the ceiling tiles above her. Before answering, her hood falls back and Selphie finds herself staring at the floor.]

Because things aren't the same as before.

[Irvine felt that brutally. He really wanted to forget that, but...Irvine's now looking away, his tone depressed and voice quieter]

...Oh...[Smirks]Yea, things would be different, after how much of an ass I was to you. [Sighs] I wish I could go back in time but...

[Shakes his head, hands in his pocket] I'll go now...I didn't mean to make you upset Selph...I'm sorry

[Irvine begins to walk the other way]

[She'll grab his hand in a vice-like grip and refuse to let it go.]

It doesn't mean that we can't be friends and we can still hang out and stuff. And you don't have to leave either... [She still needs his support, doesn't he get that?]

[He felt like he was the problem to her, he stopped dead in his track when she grabbed him]

Yea, you're right, we still can be friends. [Turns back to her and grins] And that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world Selphie. [Opens his arms for a hug]

[Selphie smiles before walking into his embrace and getting a much needed hug.]

Now then... about that hot chocolate...

[And a hug she gets a big one from Irvine, looonnng time coming, pulls back to answer her]

Shouldn't you eat first before you put more sugar in your body?

I can't eat and drink hot chocolate along with a meal?

[And Irvine is just thinking how hot chocolate will taste with hot dogs. He shrugs] Alright, alright, hot chocolate and a meal.

[Chuckles] No point in arguing with you. [A pause as he walks in front of her and he sighs] I'm sorry...again...

[At which point Selphie will punch him in the arm.]

Quit apologizing. It's in the past isn't it?

It is...[Sighs] But I still think what I did to you. You deserved much better than that.

Irvy... what's done is done. It can't be changed and the things that we both said can't be taken back either.

[Still looking down] You're right...wish I could, but you're right.

...[Shakes his head] Gah, what the hell happened? [Chuckles] I was suppose to cheer you up, not the other way around.

You cheer me up, I cheer you up. Plain and simple.

[Grins] So we always got each other's backs huh?

Tell me again, how did I get to meet someone as awesome as you?

Always! It's what's best friends are for.

Well... we did kinda grow up together.

[When she said best friends, his ego gained back some of its composure]

[Sarcastic tone] Ohhhh yeeeaaaaa [Smiles]

Alright enough of this moody stuff, you're hungry and you haven't been acting like Selphie, and as your best friend, I'm gonna personally drag you there so you get back to normal. [Grins] Okay?

You'll have to catch me first!

[Annnnd she's off like a bat out of hell!]

[Sighs as she runs off] I shouldn't chase her...

GET BACK HERE SELPHIE! [Chases after her]

NO WAY COWBOY! [Selphie runs faster.]

[Damn her and her quickness, he picks up the pace as much as he can to catch up]

I'M GONNA GET YA!

[Oh look, there's a flight of stairs as Selphie leaps from the top step and lands neatly at the bottom.]

NO YOU'RE NOT!

[Oh look, flight of stairs, so Irvine copies her...and loses his footing and lands backwards on the floor]

[Irvine rubs the back of his head] Yea, I'll live...I guess...I've taken bigger beatings.
