[Given some of the things he'd been hearing about the place, Setzer had almost thought the half-seen glimpses of something very much familiar out of the corner of his eye were more a sign of him starting to lose it than anything. Needless to say, the fact that he walked through a door only to find himself there was a more than welcome surprise.

And naturally, the first thing he does is see if she's still in working order (thankfully, yes) and if he can actually fly her (no, unfortunately).

By the time he actually turns the video on, he's seated in the captain's cabin, looking quite pleased with things, even if he can't fly. He's missed his ship something fierce, these days.]

Not quite the turn I'd expected, given the hands I've seen played out. But I dare say I won't complain too much about having found a stroke of luck in this game.

[She nods.] That sounds reasonable enough to me. Good luck.

Thanks. I'll need it. Your hand is always better than mine.

[Hence why he's usually got better odds than she does. Not counting the time she used Edgar's double-sided coin.]

Until we change the odds and make our own luck. Isn't that how it goes?
