[Raine's standing behind the counter of the tavern in Dali, with her phone resting on the counter. For anyone who knows her well, she's putting on her everything-will-be-fine face. A little stern, but that's what carries her through tough times. She intends for the post to be friendly and inviting enough.]

I'll be running the tavern in Dali until Slai's father returns. We'd be happy to have you in for a drink or meal if you're in the area.

[Her brow furrows in thought for a moment, and she adds on an additional question.]

Does anyone have the recipe for South Gate's Bundt Cake? I've been craving one.

[He's not really intending to respond at first. Dali's not a place he wants anything to do with again as long as he lives, brief as that time may be.

But the extra question seems pleasant enough and he nods]

Grandpa used to tell me about all kinds of food. You, um, you need a special bundt pan that has a hole in the middle to make it the right shape. They keep the recipie top secret but it has lots of fruit and some cinnamon and icing sugar on top. I think the fruit changes depending on what you can get in the season. And, and you have to use brown sugar for baking it. Grandpa said you can never, ever use white sugar for it.
