[She plunks her head down, mindful of her horn, and in a matter of seconds, the feed is airborne and weaving all around the child's bedroom.]

Hey! Give that back!

[The source of the lousy feed becomes readily apparent as a mooglish voice breaks in:] You're grounded, kupo! [Two more seconds and there's a fuzzy face in the screen, then the video is cut off.]

It took us about two hours to get there from Luca during your kidnapping attempt. That's not very long, especially not given that your father has an entire fleet of airships.

Marlene and Denzel both require an education. And you have private tutors who tutor you every day, right?

They don't. Believe me, Eiko, none of us get what we want all the time. People leave, they disappear... Sometimes you lose a friend much too soon... It's hard, but we have to live with it.

[Only problem with this plan is that Eiko is such a handful, tutors usually give up on her after a month. This last one made it three and has an iron will. Gulp!]
