[Tidus is... not in Luca. ~~Why doesn't he learn.~~ Anyone fairly familiar with Gaian cities can tell he's recently arrived in Alexandria, its airship docks behind him - he's taken the day off from training to go "pay a visit" to a certain castle ~~and probably a certain knight~~.]

Hey guys, blitz season's starting soon - so why don't we have a party? Down in Luca, I don't think most of you've been there yet, but it's pretty cool! I'll get everyone into the game [he hopes], and then we can all go out swimming and sailing!

Uhhh... Yeah, I'm gonna go get my boat back now.

I need to talk to a loud guy with a bucket on his head.

[The soldiers look at each other before one answers.]

[Don't arrest him, this isn't trespassing. This is more like charging head-first at the front door while screaming. And Steiner's acting like a moron anyway, at least in his opinion.]

[Seriously, fine with him. He'll play by the rules - this time. If Steiner persists, he's just hijacking it back. But he's not leaving Alexandria without his boat.]

[And he'll go with the soldiers.]

[And here's Steiner! Fresh from inspecting the battlements. He looks at Tidus suspiciously.]

Ho! You! Good work, soldiers. I told this man that I would have him arrested if he came here!

[Steiner, you're an idiot. Tidus crosses his arms and levels a glare at him.]

I came of my own free will, buckethead. You stole my boat and I want it back.

[Have a glare right back.]

You'll get nothing with such insolence, boy!

I don't care what you think! You're illegally holding my own house because you're too much of an IDIOT to see that I wasn't even in your city when it showed up!

[This was SO not going to end well.]

It! Just! Came! Over! Like all the other stuff that's shown up here! I haven't seen my own bed in a year and a half already and now that it's here I'm taking the whole damn thing with me!

[Steiner is raging so much right now he might well explode. He's puffing up like a balloon, and he's about a second away from jumping up and down and stamping his feet.]

That's it! I have warned you enough times! Take him away!

[And the soldiers are going to grab you now, Tidus. Looks like you're being arrested!]

What is going on out here?

[oh, that voice does not sound pleased. And then, there she is, skirt in her hand so she can walk more easily; the queen herself, and she does not look happy]

[Thank you Garnet, you're very well-meaning, but Tidus and authority don't mix. At all.]

This moron won't give me my boat because he doesn't like the fact that I'm telling him the truth to his face!

[Glaring at Steiner the whole time? Oh yeah.]

Y-your Majesty!

[Steiner bows, then shoots Tidus a dirty look.]

We were just arresting this miscreant, my queen! There is no need to worry; I have everything under control.

Arresting him? On what grounds?

[She's looking at Tidus now... He seems familliar, but she can't place where from]

For trespassing after I specifically forbade him to come here! And for his insolence! You heard him, Your Majesty. This rogue cannot keep a civil tongue.

[Oh, hi Garnet, you're a queen. That's better than Steiner, but Tidus still has no fond thought of Steiner or anything associated with most royalty. But, Garnet was a summoner... she'd know Yuna then. Also, she'd know Seymour. Not good.]

I am not trespassing you overweight impatient unholy clanking of a waste of space! I came here by choice, in the open, looking for you, because you're keeping my property without any cause because you don't like the idea that I'm calling you on your bullshit and I wasn't anywhere near Alexandria when it showed up and for some reason you thought I was invading the damn city in a houseboat! How stupid can you be?!

[Actually, she never knew Seymour all THAT well, except as the leader of the Guado. She WAS prepared to maybe Help you Tidus, but you aren't exactly helping the situation]

Calm yourself, or I will LET them lock you up. Steiner, why would you forbid him to set foot in Alexandria! And what is this about a boat?

[Steiner draws himself up indignantly.]

Your Majesty, he is speaking of a ship that showed up at Alexandria Harbour. We searched it and found it to be empty, until this miscreant claimed that it belonged to him. Had the circumstances not been highly suspicious already, and had this young man been able to control his temper, I would have gladly agreed to hand it over!

However, he chose instead to throw insults at me, so he only has himself to blame for this situation!

[The ONLY reason he's biting his tongue now is because Garnet's being more reasonable than Steiner. He's keeping it in - barely - but that doesn't mean he's not going to lay it down to Steiner just how thickheaded the knight's being and how thickheaded he was in the past. He's just... not yelling now. Still speaking intensely, though.]

You're the one who forgot that stuff's popping up from other worlds all the time now without people asking for it or expecting it, so when a Zanarkand-style houseboat showed up in your harbor you didn't think that maybe it was another one of those things that are coming over like full-sized airships like Rydia's Lunar Whale, you decided that someone had to be invading Alexandia despite the place having no weapons or anything like a weapon and the door being locked. So the first I heard of my home showing up was you and your guys searching it by breaking my stuff and when you didn't find anyone in there you decided you could just keep it. So the first I heard that the Marela was here was you guys smashing things to pieces then deciding that something that was obviously not from Gaia was apparently some sort of present for you so of course I wanted you out of there!

[Deeeeeeeeeep breath, Tidus. Deeeeeeeeeep breath.]

Yeah, I yelled, but you would too if you found a bunch of guys wrecking your home when you didn't expect to see it again! And when I told you it was mine, you just said you were busy and didn't ask for any proof until I shoved it at you, then you said that I was trespassing and you were confiscating it when I was in Luca and not your city at all, so yeah, I think I have a right to be mad here. Because you damn well didn't agree to hand it over or even seem to think that maybe us Sky People couldn't control when our stuff showed up here. I. Just. Want. My. Home. I've already lost enough as it is and I just want the boat I grew up on.

[Oh, she's liatening, and listening good. Mention of Rydia also gets her attention -- if he knows Rydia then...

Oooh. It dawns on her now. She knows where she's seen him]

You. [She's looking at Tidus, now] You're Yuna's Fiancee, aren't you? What was your name? I want to believe you, but would you mind if I take a look at the vessel first?

[Steiner folds his arms, almost as though he's trying to stop himself from running over and throttling Tidus. But his queen has spoken, so he answers her respectfully.]

Your Majesty, we have the vessel moored in the harbour. Do you wish me to escort you?

[He not only knows Rydia, she's one of his closest friends, and vice versa. But Garnet's being sane helps leash him in, and he nods at her request, even if it's a bit stiff and he's still partially looking at Steiner.] That's fine with me. Your majesty. [It took him a moment to remember the title - he was never good with titles. Zanarkand didn't use them.]

I'm Tidus. I'm kind of from Spira like Yuna, but it's a... weird situation. The boat's from my real home - it's not gonna make a lot of sense to anyone else, but it's got a bunch of my stuff in it.
