Video

[Like the predictability of the sun rising and setting every day, there would be a time where Kuja broadcasted a video of himself. It was difficult to resist showing the rest of the echelon on the network what they were missing out on, so much so he had to do it at least once! But the intent of this footage wasn’t to gloat, surprisingly, instead it was to showcase a certain item he had in his possession and needed to know what to make of it.

When started, the screen showed the view of a crystal chalice held in his hands, much like a trophy. Since Kuja didn’t know what it was, instead of giving it a name he decided to call it something else.]

To those of you who are familiar with this piece, please tell me the intent of it. And to those of you who know who I am, should you be worried that it is in my possession? It’s hard to believe that an object of such beauty is capable of anything destructive, but then again, [Have a haughty laugh here, as he’s clearly referencing himself,] hardly surprising.

Was that much public gloating necessary?

It looks like a broken cup.

A crystal chalice?

[Looking quite perplexed at the item carried within those dainty hands, the bard remembered seeing this cad briefly at the party within Wutai.]

How...what sort of power could lurk within such a beautiful item? It looks like more of a relic than a weapon, sir.

[Memorizing his voice from weeks earlier, Aerith pops up within the video screen looking mighty curious about that interesting chalice-like trophy.]

...What are you up to? It looks like a holy item or something that shouldn't be held by your hands.

I don't know you but I can bet you aren't the original owner of that thing.

Would you care to describe the item to me?
