Seymour's from our world - he was one of the leaders of Yevon, the religion that most people followed on Spira. He killed his dad and wanted to use Yuna to help him kill everyone on our world to 'save them from their sorrow' or anything like that, and we kept getting in his way. So when I proposed to Yuna, he decided to come after me.
