[Screen flickers on to the airship yard in Lindblum, Cid is at a work table with his visor down working on schematics.]

Hey Cid! Is this how it's suppose to be?

[Looks up and away] What? No! That's not the right part. [Lifts the visor] I swear you're going to make Rachael run straight into the ground if you do it like that! [Sighs]

[Looks at the camera] Oh...I didn't know this was on [Motions to so he's smiling cheerfully at the camera] Hey everyone out there. I thought I would let you know I'm working at the airship yard, I figured it's the best way to understand all these Mist and Steam engines.

[Looks down at his table] They seem pretty sound...a little crude, but it should do the job. I'll see if there is a way to upgrade the technology later on, but for now it'll do. [Looks at the screen] It did come at a cost though...

[Camera moves around to a similar type model of an airship from his world still under construction] I still prefer Sylvia's design, but at least Rachael will be like the little sister she had. Plus I don't mind making this for the city. If anything it helps keep me busy, plus I'm helping everyone out with another airship.

[Screen shifts back to Cid] Now that I have the tools, I think it's time I start planning some other things.

OH! Um...uh...Blond lady...I'm still up for that excavation to that city you were talking about.

[Sounds of scraping metal are heard in the background] Whoops, looks like we dented it.

[Cid's eye is twitching] RACHAEL! [Cries]

No matter! Ah... The airship is called Rachael? A good name... I knew a young lady called Racheal once, a very beautiful lady...

[He shakes his head.]

Well! What's your name?

[He's nodding and looking back at the ship] I felt it was appropriate of her.

[Turns back with a smile] I'm Cid! I designed Rachael. [Pride in that last sentence]

Cid! So you're our young airship designer. You know, I've looked at the blueprints for this ship... Amazing. How did you come up with it?

I modeled it after my own airship from my world, A ship I was still designing the flying components for. [A heavy sigh] I wonder if Jane and Sylvia are okay...

[Shakes head] I'm sure they are! [Looks back at the ship] Rachael will use my design, but the engines will be done using the mist and steam that Regent Cid developed, apparently...I wonder how he designed such a thing.

[Cid laughs.] Haven't you ever seen the Regent?

[Shakes head] I've been too busy working on the airship since I returned from that memory place to ever see him.

To tell you the truth I think he's a brilliant man in this era. Even though his engines are bit crude in design, the fact that he managed to make them even fly is amazing.

[Sighs] Problem is I would love to speak to him about other methods of travel using his engines. [Scratches the back of his head]But what are the chances of that happening huh? [Laughter]

Crude? Crude? My engines are never crude!

Ah, I've given the game away. You're in luck, son: I am Regent Cid. I'd like to know what kind of world you come from where airships like mine are considered crude!

[Blinking in shock] Ah...R-Regent! [Bows] I didn't mean it like that. Your airships are beautiful in their own way, it's just the engines are something I'm not used to.

[Looking down in shame] I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend.

No matter. If you're used to something more advanced, perhaps you can give us ideas, eh? Share what's in that head of yours.

[Scratches his head] I would need certain components that your world doesn't have. Perhaps other places would have then, then I could make the engines output a lot less energy but the same equivalent force.

[Starts to ramble off about calculations and thinking of all the ideas trapped inside his head]

Interesting... What components?

Hmm...well something more advanced, maybe some electronic devices. I could try and outfit the same design engines to what I have on Jane. Though the steam engines would work on...

[Idea] A train...

Eh?

Nothing just an idea I was thinking of...a new method of transport in this world, rather than walking or airship. [Shakes head] But you probably don't want to hear about that.

The engines I could modify, but like I said I would need the right parts. If I do manage to get them, I'd be happy to show you the new Mist engines and their blueprints.

No, I do! I think we need to have a long talk.

[Let's take a walk and talk blueprints and transport, yay.]

I think there's a lot of potential in sharing our information.
